‘Aazadi Ka Gaurav: Viksit Chhattisgarh Ka Sankalp’ Photo Exhibition to Be Organised at Town Hall from August 15

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai to Inaugurate Exhibition

Raipur, August 14, 2026/

On the occasion of Independence Day, the Public Relations Department will organise a photo exhibition titled ‘Aazadi Ka Gaurav: Viksit Chhattisgarh Ka Sankalp’ at the historic Town Hall, Kachahari Chowk, Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will inaugurate the exhibition at 11 AM on August 15.

The exhibition will showcase the lives, struggles, and contributions of Chhattisgarh’s freedom fighters; the state’s significant role in India’s freedom movement; major movements associated with the freedom struggle; and the contributions of prominent public heroes through photographs. It will also highlight the State Government’s welfare schemes, development initiatives and achievements, reflecting the positive transformation taking place across Chhattisgarh.

The exhibition aims to acquaint the younger generation with Chhattisgarh’s glorious history, its contribution to the freedom struggle and its journey of development. With a special focus on youth and school students, it will also feature attractions including a quiz competition on Chhattisgarh’s history, culture and achievements.

The exhibition will remain open to the public from August 15 to 21, daily from 10:30 AM to 8 PM.
